Busy, busy, busy

Life has been a whirl wind of activity around here lately. Between working on the house, maintaining the daily operations of a home, designing & creating and spending some quality time with my grandson, I have been too busy and too tired to write anything. So today I am going to try and play catch up a little bit.

Over the last few weeks I have spent a lot of time weeding gardens, landscaping, painting around the house. I have also been getting caught up on some cleaning tasks inside the house that have been neglected over the past several months. In all the hub-bub though, I have managed to card and spin up the last of my wool:

Drop Spindle

I ordered, laundered and sewed new linen into dish towels:

Kitchen Dish Towels

I got caught up on my hand quilting:

Independence Park

And I made two new linen/cotton blend blouses:

Linen Blouses

Green Linen Blouse

Slowly I am getting caught up on my unfinished work and I am hoping to be able to get back to writing posts on a regular basis.

Happy Creating!!

  1. Despite all that has been going on, I would say you have been busy! I too need to get back into writing regular posts. Now school is back, I’m hoping that will actually happen. But I’m working on a couple of things I’m not wanting to show as works in progress which makes it difficult!
