Each stitch on this quilt has been a challenge. When I first became ill, I also lost my coordination in my right hand (and I am right handed). Each time I worked on the quilt, whether I was appliquéing or quilting, I felt like I was 5 years old again and holding the needle for the first time. I wanted to give up and if I had been working on any other quilt, I would have. My grandson is due in about 3 weeks though, so I forced myself to keep working on it and I am glad I did because each day my hand/eye coordination became a little better.
Here is the progress I have made so far:

I have been felling a little better each day, so I’ll try and post more often now.
