Help Wanted

Last year I blogged about a lot of different things, I was kind of all over the place with my topics. This year I would like to narrow my focus down as I transition into a more artistic approach to quilting, sewing and creating in general. What I would like to know is this:

What type of blog do you like to read?

What do you think the strong points of my blog are?

Where can I improve?

How can I help inspire you to be more creative?

I would really love to have your input.

Happy Creating!

  1. I like reading about crafts that I can do but don’t do. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ie I know how to quilt but haven’t since college and don’t plan on picking it up again soon.
I like your tutorial style- rather Bob Ross to me.
I’m nosy so more about you would be fun.

  2. I enjoy reading about the process the quilter has gone through to finish a quilt, or as they move through the process. I enjoy knitting and tips on how to improve. I love the tutorials that really help in learning a new technique, especially your painting. You make your posts very informative. I prefer to stick to knitting, embroidery, needle turn appllique and piecing and even your process in painting on fabric. I try to stick to quilting on my blog whenever I have started a project, progressed on a project, or heaven forbid – finish one! LOL

  3. I personally like blogs that go into the ups and downs of projects and explain why certain decisions were made. I’m not too fussed about how many topics a blogger covers, if I’m not interested in one particular post I will just not read it! I like your tutorials and your new to me crafts like fabric painting and experimenting with different techniques. I’m not likely to pick these crafts up soon but I enjoy reading about them!
